Ingredients:

FOR THE MEATBALLS:
1 pound lean ground beef or turkey
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 scallion, finely chopped
1 large egg
3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 handful cilantro, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for baking

-FOR THE SAUCE:

1 cup low sodium chicken or beef stock
4 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons runny honey
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon dried garlic powder
1 to 2 scallions, finely chopped

Directions:

MAKE THE MEATBALLS: Mix all meatball ingredients except oil in a large bowl. Use a handheld mixer or hands to ensure even incorporation. Shape using 1.5 teaspoons of mix per meatball on a lightly oiled baking sheet. Optionally, freeze for 10 minutes for better shape.
Preheat oven to 410°F and bake meatballs for 10-12 minutes until browned.
WHILE THE MEATBALLS ARE BAKING, MAKE THE SAUCE: Whisk all sauce ingredients in a skillet and bring to a boil. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
FINISH THE DISH: Toss baked meatballs in the sauce over low heat until glazed.
